Mechanism of action

Ibuprofen  is released when the foam dressing comes in contact with wound exudate.

Composition

Biatain^® 0.5 mg/cm homogeneously distributed in this foam matrix² Absorbent polyurethane foam containing ibuprofen.

Using

Biatain^® Ibu Non Adhesive is indicated for a variety of low to highly exuding wounds, including acute wounds such as second degree burns, donor sites, postoperative wounds and skin abrasions along with sores there are chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and non-infected diabetic foot ulcers Biatain^® This is suitable for use with compression therapy.
