AQUACEL ^® Ag, silver-impregnated antimicrobial absorbent dressing, Hydrofiber^® It is a soft, sterile, non-woven pad or strip dressing made of  and ionic silver.
Silver in the dressing kills a broad spectrum of wound bacteria and helps create an antimicrobial environment.
The dressing absorbs large amounts of wound fluid and bacteria, forming a soft and cohesive gel that fully covers the wound surface, providing a moist environment and helping to remove dead tissue from the wound (autolytic debridement).
The moist wound environment and control of wound bacteria supports the wound healing process and  helps to reduce the risk of infection in the wound.

Indications;
AQUACEL^® Ag Hydrofiber^® wound dressing is the primary dressing for medium to heavy exuding wounds, when there is an infection or there is a high risk of infection. AQUACEL^® Ag Hydrofiber^® The dressing can be used under medical supervision to manage the following conditions.
Wounds with infection or increased risk of infection  wounds.
Partial loss (2nd degree) burns.
Diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers (venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers and leg ulcers of mixed etiology) and pressure ulcers (partial/complete loss).
Surgical wounds.
Traumatic wounds.
Wounds prone to bleeding, such as mechanically or surgically debrided wounds.
Fungodiez-cutaneous tumors,  fungal  exudating oncological wounds such as carcinoma, cutaneous metastases, Kaposi sarcoma and angiosarcoma.
