Tegaderm CHG fixation cover consists of a combination of a transparent adhesive cover and a gel pad containing 2% chlorhexidine gluconate, an antiseptic agent with broad spectrum antimicrobial and antifungal effect.
This cover acts as a barrier to liquids (waterproof) bacteria and yeasts and protects the IV site from external contamination.
The gel pad absorbs liquid up to eight times its weight.
Tegaderm CHG Fixing Cover is transparent, it provides moisture and vapor balance with its air permeable feature and continuously observable of the applied area.
