Classic III stethoscope offers a versatile bilateral chestpiece with high acoustic sensitivity and adjustable diaphragms for excellent performance. The
Classic III stethoscope is used by students and medical professionals to identify, listen and examine heart, lung and other body sounds for physical assessment, patient monitoring and diagnosis. Tunable diaphragm technology – a 3M invention – simply adjusts the pressure on the chestpiece, allowing different frequency sounds to be heard. Use the chestpiece with light pressure to listen to low-frequency sounds; press a little harder to hear higher frequency sounds.
This time-saving feature allows the practicing professional to focus on the patient, while the anti-chill borders provide comfort to the patient.
Headphone tension is easily adjusted for head size and comfort by squeezing or pulling together the earcups. The patented 3M™ Littmann® Stethoscope Sealed Eartips are tightly fitted, soft, sealed earmuffs that provide a comfortable fit and excellent acoustic isolation. The eartips fit snugly over the ends of the ear spring and require painstaking effort to remove them safely.
